Residential 2.5 kW Solar Grid-Tied System

This new construction residential 2.5 kW solar PV grid-tied system includes 18 Uni-Solar PVL-136 modules installed on the roof. The Uni-Solar PV modules are flexible laminate modules that are thin and lay flat, creating a seamless look with the rest of the roof. These connect to a SMA-America Sunny Boy inverter to convert the DC generated by the modules into grid-acceptable AC, with a Sunny Boy RS 485 communication module. The system is then grid-connected to the local utility.
